About Offspring: The Call....
Sam Connor has always had an uncanny sense of perception and a unique relationship with his guardian angel. But his awareness has been in overdrive as of late, and for good reason-he's being stalked by a man he knows is trying to kill him.
But that's not all Sam senses. Abductions and grisly attacks are blanketing America in what seems to be a calculated and epic crime wave. And while Sam can't explain it, he knows that somehow, he's supposed to do something about it.
As high-school aged Sam and three strangers are inexplicably drawn to a small Tennessee town, they begin to realize that they are being pulled to the place from where evil spreads. But as they answer the mysterious "call" they find themselves hunted by ancient, near-omnipotent, and lethal enemies. Their survival requires that they understand the unique inheritance that helps them hear the call.

Jackson bears a sharp new voice, and this debut, a taut supernatural thriller, blows to its climactic conclusion. Deeply rooted in both contemporary and non-conventional religious history and doctrine, Offspring's world is one like ours-and it's populated by guardian and fallen angels, malevolent demonic entities, and vile human thralls. Only Sam and the other Offspring of long ago trysts between angels and men have the ability and power to close the Veil through which mankind's vicious enemies enter the plane of Man. But will they harness their inheritance in enough time to avert their fate and the world's-and the gathering traction of the Fallen? And to make matters worse for Sam and his band of brothers, a pact now exists between the Fallen Angels and their demonic allies: destroy the Offspring.
LIAM JACKSON is a highly decorated twenty-year veteran of the U.S. criminal justice system, having served as a narcotics officer, tactical operator, Chief of Police and, most recently, a Deputy Program Manager and Operations Chief for a federal counter-terrorism program. He has been awarded the prestigious Silver Star for Bravery by the American Police Hall of Fame. He lives near Little Rock, Arkansas.
Offspring is his debut novel, with additional installments to follow.
